Wow, what a show at Capitol Theatre in Moncton tonight for Disney’s The Little Mermaid, co-produced by the Capitol Theatre and Tutta Musica Orchestra. It was funny, high tech, bright and brilliant, and the acting and singing were amazing. And there were great little NB touristy touches that I just loved!

It was fun to be there with Troy and the kids along with Greg Turner - MLA, Moncton South / Député, Moncton-Sud and his lovely wife Claudette.

It was such a treat to see Sussex Regional High School graduate Kaitlyn Post home from Toronto where she works as an actress to play Ursula in the show. She was fabulous!

Directed by Marshall Button with Musical Direction by Antonio Delgado, this show is for the whole family. There will be more shows until March 3. You should do your best to get there. 🙂

🌸 Happy Birthday Marlene Balcom 🌸

You cannot know this amazing and kind woman without absolutely loving her. With her late husband Bob, Marlene Balcom raised a beautiful family, was a much-loved teacher and ran a favourite small business, Sussex Source for Sports.

This wonderful woman turned 85 years young this week and I just loved stopping into her home to wish her a happy birthday. 🎂

My goodness, what a treat visiting this vibrant, exceptional birthday girl today at her home in Sussex. Margaret Drury is 100 years old today, and she is out of this world living her best life with independence and good health. Happy birthday Margaret. 🎂🌸
