Arts and culture play a vital role in growing the economy and quality of life in New Brunswick. Today I enjoyed hosting the Big 6 cultural institutions in the province at my riding office in Sussex. Thank you Théâtre Populaire de l’Acadie, Theatre New Brunswick, Théâtre l’Escaouette, Symphony New Brunswick, Beaverbrook Art Gallery and Atlantic Ballet Company for the important conversation on ways the province can further support you and the work you do.

The start of the Christmas season always feels official with the Salvation Army Christmas kettle campaign, launched last week at Sobeys in Sussex. I was so happy to make the first donation of the season to the Sussex campaign. The work of the Salvation Army is so critical in our community in providing service and support when families and individuals need it the most. Sign up to volunteer at one of the kettles throughout the community in the weeks to come, or encourage youth teams and organizations to get involved. It is such important work.
